Royal Clarence Lodge No.68
“One of the original Freemasonry Lodges in Bristol, but also one of the friendliest”

welcome

Welcome to Royal Clarence Lodge No.68, of the Province of Bristol.

We meet nine times a year, on the second Monday of the month, excepting June, July and August, with our meeting for installation of a new Master in December.

Meetings start at 6:30pm, and generally finish about 8:30pm, followed by a dinner to allow us to enjoy each other’s company, and strengthen our fraternal relationships.

A typical year will include a Ladies Night hosted by the Master and his wife with a meal, dancing and entertainment, a Spring or Summer Garden Party or BBQ alongside other social events.

With 38 Lodges in the Province, it gives us an easy opportunity to visit others within Park Street, either as individuals, or as a Fraternal Visit with other members of Royal Clarence Lodge No.68.

It is always great to experience other peoples’ ceremonies, and enjoy their company.

Our Bristol workings are enjoyed as much by visitors from outside the Province, as we enjoy visiting outside of Bristol, and experiencing their Ceremonies.

Regular Meetings

We normally meet in Lodge Room 1, which is quite an impressive location.

After meetings

Once we have concluded our Meeting, we will take time to catch up with our other members over a meal, and we occasionally extend the invite to partners and wives.

ENJOY YOUR VISIT!

Our home at Freemason's Hall is a splendid location to meet friends and colleagues, full of history and was once the home of The Philosophical Institution for the Advancement of Science, Literature and Art, before becoming Bristol's first public museum.
